Connect 4

Each week we set you a fiendishly difficult pop puzzle in the season opener, we wanted to know what connected  the  four 70s hits:

  •   "Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes)" by Edison Lighthouse
  •   "My Baby Loves Lovin'" by White Plains
  •   "Gimme Dat Ding" by The Pipkins
  •   "United We Stand" by Brotherhood of Man

The answer was : Tony Burrows, who was the lead singer on each of the hits. We had NO Winners

Last  week we had four new hits and we were  asking the same question.  Could you connect the dots:

  • "I won't let you down" by PH.D
  • "Red, Red Wine" by UB 40
  • "Diamonds are forever" by Shirley Bassey
  • "A little bit of me, a whole lotta you" by The Monkees

The connection was 'Diamonds'.  Neil Diamond wrote the UB40 and Monkees hits, Jim Diamond was lead singer of PH.D and Shirley was singing Diamonds are forever.  We had a winner.

This week we played four new songs and asked if you could spot the connection between:

  • "If I can't have you" by Yvonne Elliman
  • "Immortality" by  Celine Dion
  • "Chain Reaction" by Dianna Ross
  • "Islands in the Stream" by Dolly Parton/Kenny Rogers

Drop us a line if you know the answer for a chance to win a Travel Connect 4 game.  The winner will be announced here !
